Answer the following question in 5-8 sentences:

Do you think there are negative consequences due to the way our country has shifted from religion playing a large role in our government to today where religion is almost not allowed to be discussed and it is controversial when someone from Washington mentions God? If so can you explain what those negative consequences are?

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

No

Explanation:

I do not think there are negative consequences due to the way our country has shifted from religion playing a large role in our government to today where religion is almost not allowed to be discussed and it is controversial when someone from Washington mentions God because everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and no one can change it if they don't with other people's religions. Yes, there might be sometimes where people get shut down for mentioning God with politics, but you know that not all people have the same religion.

Answer 2
My answer would be yes it has. All you have to do is look back through history itself and see how much worse things have gotten since taking God and religion out of the equation. I respect everyone’s right to practice their own religion as long as it doesn’t require them to harm others who don’t practice the same. But it’s quite obvious that our country was founded on Christianity. The right to freedom of religion was originally intended towards the various denominations of Christianity and Catholicism and when immigrants came here they came here knowing that. Also Christianity teaches good values so why not use it. If it makes the people in power better and more compassionate then why wouldn’t you want it. I will stand by the argument that has historically proven itself beyond dispute. This country was much better before they started banning the use of God and religion.

The 13th amendment was passed at the end of the Civil War before the Southern states had been restored to the Union and should have easily passed the Congress.

Explanation:

Answer:

It was necessary because the Emancipation Proclamation, issued by President Abraham Lincoln in January of 1863, did not end slavery entirely; those ensllaved in border states had not been freed. ... and possibly The number of German casualties and their previous losses likely made it difficult for Germany to recover. but im not 100% sure I hope this helps

I think France had the strongest military during WWII, because the German Invasion of France during 1940 was a easy win for Hitler and Germany. But again, it could be strategy, not man-power. I also don’t think Canada played a huge roll in the War. I think they joined because the UK was in the war and so did other Commonwealth Countries, like Australia. The main key players in WWII were probably the Soviet Union and the United States. France still existed under Nazi rule (though it was called Vichy France) and was probably a key player too. The Allied Invasion of Normandy was a big turning point in the War, and Germany did see a lot of casualties, so I think the answer is the first two scenarios; the Normandy invasion was a significant turning point during the war and Germany experienced the most casualties during the Normandy invasion.

How did the economy of the South during the Antebellum era compare to that of the North?
A. The South's economy was dictated to them by the British, while the Northern economy was run by the Puritans.
B. The South's economy was dependent upon industries, while the North's economy was dependent upon agriculture.
C. The South's economy was based on wage labor and trade, while the North's economy was based upon industrialism and all-slave labor.
D. The South's economy was based upon agriculture and slave labor, while the North's economy was based upon industrialization and wage labor.

Answers

D. The South's economy was based upon agriculture and slave labor, while the North's economy was based upon industrialization and wage labor.

During the Antebellum era, the Southern economy was primarily based on agriculture, particularly the production of cotton, tobacco, and sugar, which were grown on large plantations using slave labor. The Southern economy was also heavily reliant on exports of these crops to foreign markets. In contrast, the Northern economy was driven by industrialization and manufacturing, with cities such as Boston, New York, and Philadelphia becoming major centers of commerce and industry. The North also had a larger population and greater access to transportation and communication networks, which facilitated economic growth and development. The North's economy relied on wage labor rather than slave labor, and while the North did have some agriculture, it was not as dominant a feature of the economy as it was in the South.

Answer:

D. The South's economy was based upon agriculture and slave labor, while the North's economy was based upon industrialization and wage labor.

BRAINLIEST FOR THE CORRECCT ANSWERS!!!!!! How does the rule of law affect society? Check all that apply.

A. It influences people’s behaviors and attitudes.
B. It always prevents lawmakers from abusing power.
C. It ensures the separation of powers.
D. It governs how policies are created.
E. It ensures that the law applies to lawmakers.

Answers

The correct options are:

A. It influences people’s behaviors and attitudes.

C. It ensures the separation of powers.

E. It ensures that the law applies to lawmakers.

Explanation:

The rule of law refers to the idea that everyone is equal under the law and that no one is above it. It helps to promote fairness and justice in society by providing a framework for resolving disputes and holding people accountable for their actions.

Here are the options that correctly describe how the rule of law affects society:

A. It influences people’s behaviors and attitudes. - The rule of law sets a standard for how people should behave and encourages them to follow the law to avoid consequences.

C. It ensures the separation of powers. - The rule of law helps to prevent any one branch of government from becoming too powerful by ensuring that each branch has its responsibilities and limitations.

E. It ensures that the law applies to lawmakers. - The rule of law requires that lawmakers follow the same laws as everyone else, preventing them from abusing their power and ensuring that they are held accountable for their actions.

Option B is incorrect because the rule of law does not always prevent lawmakers from abusing their power. It helps to prevent abuse of power, but it is not foolproof.

Option D is also incorrect because the rule of law governs how laws are enforced, not how policies are created.

Hence, the answers are A, C, and E

A. It influences people’s behaviors and attitudes.
C. It ensures the separation of powers.
E. It ensures that the law applies to lawmakers.

The rule of law is a fundamental principle that ensures that all individuals and institutions are accountable to the law, and that no one is above the law. It influences people's behaviors and attitudes by providing a framework for acceptable conduct, and by establishing clear consequences for violations of the law. It ensures the separation of powers by limiting the authority of each branch of government, and by requiring that each branch operate within its designated sphere of influence. Finally, it ensures that the law applies to lawmakers by subjecting them to the same standards and consequences as other citizens. However, the rule of law does not always prevent lawmakers from abusing power, nor does it govern how policies are created.
